WhatConverts

Analyze calls, forms, chats, and revenue on the records you choose

Install app

Overview

Connect a Master Account API key to give every workspace member a live, read-only view of WhatConverts lead performance on the object types selected in Display settings. Profile mappings stay in Kato while contact rows are fetched only when viewed and are never imported or retained.

How it works

A workspace owner or admin adds the WhatConverts Master Account token and secret and chooses where the record tab appears. Members then link up to 25 account profiles to each record, select the reporting currency, and view combined metrics, trends, attribution, and the Lead Manager. Kato encrypts both credentials and caches only profile metadata and aggregate dashboard results.

Configure

  1. 01In WhatConverts, create or copy a Master Account API key with its token and secret.
  2. 02In Kato, open Settings → Integrations → WhatConverts and connect the workspace.
  3. 03Open Display settings and choose the object types where the WhatConverts tab should appear.
  4. 04Open a record, link its profiles, then use Dashboard or Lead Manager to review performance.

Why connect WhatConverts to Kato

The WhatConverts integration brings lead and attribution reporting into Kato records. Marketing and client-service teams can connect the relevant account, choose the records that should carry reporting context, and review calls, forms, chats, leads, and revenue without detaching those results from ongoing client work.

Lead reporting beside client work

Keep acquisition outcomes close to the project, tasks, and meetings that produced or respond to them, giving performance discussions an operational next step.

Multiple conversion channels

Review supported calls, forms, chats, and revenue together instead of presenting each channel as an isolated metric with no shared client context.

Record-level control

Choose where WhatConverts data should appear so the workspace does not flood unrelated records with marketing metrics that do not belong there.

Ways teams use WhatConverts

Agency performance reviews

Open the client's project before a reporting call and connect recent lead volume and attributed revenue to the campaigns and tasks the team delivered.

Lead-quality investigation

Compare conversion channels and lead details when a client raises a quality question, then create targeted follow-up work in the same record.

Revenue-aware prioritization

Use attributed revenue as one signal when prioritizing optimization work, while keeping WhatConverts as the specialist source for detailed attribution reporting.

WhatConverts integration questions

Which conversion types can appear?

The integration supports the WhatConverts lead and attribution context available for calls, forms, chats, and related revenue according to the connected account.

Does Kato replace WhatConverts reporting?

No. WhatConverts remains the source for lead tracking and attribution. Kato brings relevant results into the record where teams coordinate the client work around them.

Can reporting be limited to selected records?

Yes. Teams choose the records where the connected WhatConverts context belongs, helping the workspace remain focused and preserving a clear client association.

How Kato handles connected tools

Kato keeps the original service in charge of its specialist data and permissions. The integration brings the context needed for planning, review, and follow-up into the workspace where your team already manages client and project work. Authorize only the accounts and resources your workspace needs, review access when responsibilities change, and use the provider's own administration tools for detailed configuration.

Before installing any integration, confirm which Kato record should own the relationship and who will review its output. Revisit the connection whenever a client engagement, account owner, or provider permission changes, so the context remains accurate and access stays intentional.
