What is Kato?
Kato is an AI workspace for client-service teams. It connects client records, tasks, meetings, email, retainers, invoices, and activity so the work and its context stay together.
Who is Kato built for?
Kato is designed for agencies, studios, consultants, and other teams that deliver ongoing work for clients and need one place to understand what happened, what is due, and what should happen next.
What can I ask Ask Kato?
Ask about a client, overdue work, today's meetings, recent decisions, account activity, or the next follow-up. Ask Kato answers from the workspace information you are allowed to access and shows the context behind its answer.
How do tasks and client records work together?
Tasks can carry owners, statuses, priorities, due dates, files, comments, and linked client records. That keeps the brief, the conversation, and the delivery history attached to the work instead of scattered across separate tools.
What happens to meeting notes and follow-ups?
Kato keeps agendas, attendees, meeting links, notes, and follow-up tasks connected to the relevant client record. Calendar meetings can sync into the workspace so decisions do not disappear when the call ends.
Can Kato handle retainers and invoices?
Yes. You can compose and email one-off invoices from Kato. Pro adds time tracking and retainers so usage, remaining hours, and billing stay visible alongside the client work.
Which tools can I connect?
Kato's app directory includes tools such as Google Calendar, GitHub, Vercel, and Railway, with more integrations available for the systems where your client work already lives.
Can I use Kato on my phone?
Yes. The Android app is available through Google Play, and the iPhone and iPad app is available on the App Store. Both destinations are available from the Get the app menu above.
Does Ask Kato respect workspace permissions?
Yes. Ask Kato follows the same access rules as the rest of the workspace and only uses records, tasks, meetings, and other context you are authorized to see. Proposed follow-ups and changes remain reviewable before you commit them.
How do I get access?
Kato is rolling out private beta access in small batches. Apply with your work email above, or request a walkthrough if you want to see how it fits your team's client workflow first.
