Overview

Connect your Stripe account with Stripe Connect so Kato can create and send invoices to your clients. Payments go straight to your Stripe account — Kato never holds funds. Workspace seat billing stays on Polar and is separate from Connect.

How it works

Authorize Stripe Connect from Settings → Integrations → Stripe. Kato creates hosted invoices on your connected account and emails clients a Stripe payment link. Webhooks keep invoice status in sync (paid, failed, void). Retainers use Kato’s scheduler to create periodic invoices the same way.

Configure

1. 01Go to Settings → Workspace → Integrations → Stripe.
2. 02Click Connect and complete Stripe Connect OAuth with your Stripe account.
3. 03Open Invoicing to create a draft, send it, or set up a retainer.
