Teammates, for a start. Free is single-member. Ask Kato goes from 100 credits a month to 1,000 plus a shared workspace pool. Pro also unlocks custom objects and task statuses, unlimited records, time tracking, retainers, teams, API keys and webhooks, plus Google Workspace SSO and workspace export.
What stays free forever?
Tasks, meetings, calendar and Meet, client records up to 200, one-off invoices emailed from Kato, every integration and two-factor authentication. Free is a real plan, not a demo.
What happens if I pass 200 records?
Nothing you already have is touched or hidden. You just cannot add new records until you upgrade or clear some out. The same applies to reports and saved views.
How does seat billing work?
Annual Pro is $12 per seat per month, charged as $144 per seat each year. Monthly Pro is $15 per seat each month. Your seat count follows your active member count automatically.
Is there a trial?
Yes. Both Pro options include a 14-day trial after you add a payment method. Annual is selected by default at $12 per seat per month ($144 billed yearly), and you can choose $15 billed monthly instead. Cancel before the trial ends to avoid a charge.
What if I downgrade?
Your workspace data is preserved. Free workspaces allow one active member, so an over-limit workspace stays locked until an owner or admin upgrades or removes enough members.
Do you offer annual billing?
Yes. Annual Pro is $144 per seat per year—the equivalent of $12 per seat per month—and saves 20% compared with monthly Pro. Monthly Pro is $15 per seat per month.
