TrustMRR

Show verified revenue and customer metrics on project records

Connect TrustMRR

What you can do

Connect your TrustMRR API key to pull verified revenue metrics onto Project records. Link a project to a TrustMRR startup and its MRR, trailing 30-day revenue, lifetime revenue, customers and active subscriptions appear on the Overview tab. Each workspace uses its own key — Kato never shares keys across workspaces.

Verified metrics in context

Reference TrustMRR's available revenue and customer signals from the same record used for research, planning, or client work rather than copying values into notes.

A shared business snapshot

Give teammates a consistent headline view of company traction while deeper validation and the public profile remain with TrustMRR.

Record-driven lookup

Associate the relevant company or project with its TrustMRR identity so future reviews begin with the right business rather than another manual search.

Connect TrustMRR

Paste a TrustMRR API key (keys start with tmrr_). Kato validates it, encrypts it, and stores it for your workspace. On a Project record's Overview tab, link the startup by pasting its TrustMRR slug or profile URL — Kato verifies the startup exists before saving the link. Metrics are cached for 6 hours to stay inside TrustMRR's rate limit; refresh any time from the panel.

  1. 01In TrustMRR, open the developer dashboard and create an API key (owners/admins only). Copy it — the full key is only shown once.
  2. 02In Kato, go to Settings → Integrations → TrustMRR and paste the API key.
  3. 03Open a Project record's Overview tab and link it to a TrustMRR startup by slug or profile URL.

Made for your workflow

Prospect qualification

Use verified recurring-revenue context as one input when researching a prospect, prioritizing outreach, or preparing more informed discovery questions.

Portfolio monitoring

Review available company metrics beside internal tasks and notes when a team supports, advises, or tracks several recurring-revenue businesses.

Client meeting preparation

Confirm the latest visible TrustMRR snapshot before a meeting and connect any resulting analysis or follow-up directly to the Kato record.

Common questions

Does Kato calculate the TrustMRR metrics?

No. TrustMRR remains the source for the verified metrics it publishes. Kato presents those available signals in the context of a connected record.

Are private billing details imported?

The integration is intended for the verified metrics made available through TrustMRR, not for copying a company's private billing account or raw transaction history into Kato.

How should teams use revenue metrics?

Treat them as one current business signal alongside qualitative research, client conversations, and project knowledge rather than as a complete assessment on their own.
