Ahrefs

Overview

Connect your Ahrefs API key to Kato to look up Domain Rating (DR) and backlink stats from Website fields on Projects. Each workspace uses its own Ahrefs API units — Kato never shares keys across workspaces.

How it works

Paste an Ahrefs API key from Account settings → API keys. Kato validates it with a free test query, then stores it for your workspace. On a Project, hover the Website field and click the Ahrefs icon to load Domain Rating beside the details. Keys expire after one year in Ahrefs — reconnect with a new key when needed.

Configure

1. 01In Ahrefs, open Account settings → API keys and create a key (owners/admins only).
2. 02In Kato, go to Settings → Integrations → Ahrefs and paste the API key.
3. 03On a Project, set the Website field, hover it, and click the Ahrefs icon to load Domain Rating.
