Timely

Automatic time tracking for tasks and meetings

Connect Timely

What you can do

Automatically track time spent on tasks and meetings with Timely. Task estimates create placeholder time entries and completed meetings log their actual duration.

Estimates connect to time

Use task estimates in Kato as a practical bridge to Timely, giving planned effort a place in the time system before the work is complete.

Completed meeting duration

Translate supported completed meetings into time entries with useful titles, reducing manual reconstruction of where scheduled client or internal time went.

Clear system responsibilities

Plan and coordinate work in Kato while Timely remains responsible for its time-tracking experience, projects, and detailed time records.

Inside Kato

Connect Timely

When you create a task with an estimated time, Verum creates a placeholder time entry in Timely. When a meeting is marked as completed, the actual duration is logged as a time entry. All entries include the task or meeting title for easy reference.

  1. 01Go to Settings > Integrations and click Connect on Timely.
  2. 02Authorize Verum in your Timely account.
  3. 03Select a default Timely project to map your workspace to.
  4. 04Time entries will be created automatically as you work.

Made for your workflow

Estimated task planning

Set an estimate on a Kato task and use the connected placeholder as a starting point for the time that Timely will ultimately record.

Meeting time capture

When a tracked meeting is completed, send its actual duration with a recognizable title so the time record reflects the scheduled work.

Estimate-versus-time review

Use Kato task context and Timely records together when improving future estimates, reviewing project effort, or preparing a client utilization discussion.
